Ogden Regional Medical Center operates as a Level II trauma center providing comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical services. The facility performs approximately 80 cardiac procedures annually and maintains advanced surgical capabilities for both cardiovascular and thoracic cases. The medical center utilizes Meditech EMR system and provides dedicated support staff including advanced practice providers and nursing personnel.

Utah offers regional attractions and outdoor recreation opportunities with year-round activities. The state features diverse landscapes and natural formations, providing various outdoor adventures and recreational activities for residents and visitors.

The cardiothoracic surgeon will provide exclusive 24-hour call coverage for Ogden Regional Medical Center, a Level II trauma facility. The clinician must demonstrate expertise in both cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures, managing approximately 10-12 patients weekly with 3-5 consultations and 1-3 surgical cases. The position requires board certification or eligibility and involves no clinic responsibilities during the coverage period.

• Case Load/PPD:  Approximately 10-12 patients per week with 3-5 consults over 7 days and 1-3 surgeries per week
• Support Staff:  1 Advanced Practice Provider, 1 Medical Assistant, 1 Medical Office Specialist, 1 Registered Nurse
• Patient Population:  Adults
• Call Ratio/Schedule:  All 24 Hr Call Coverage
• Location Type:  On-Site
• Prescriptive Authority Required:  Yes
