Seeking an Illinois-licensed Nurse Practitioner for our Oncology practice in Decatur, IL.
Under physician supervision, the NP provides primary care, performs medical services, and collaborates as part of the hematology/oncology team.
Responsibilities include patient history and exams, diagnosing, ordering tests, assisting with procedures, medication administration, patient education, triage, emergency evaluations, and ongoing care. The role involves participating in research, quality improvement, staff meetings, and continuing education.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited NP program, current IL licensure, CPR certification, and EPIC training. Skills required are clinical competency, communication, organization, and ability to handle a fast-paced environment with diverse patients.
Physical and mental demands involve mobility, dexterity, working under stress, and exposure to blood and chemotherapeutic agents.
