Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive patient care under physician supervision in a clinical setting.

Assess, diagnose, and manage GI and liver-related conditions, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.

Prescribe medications, educate patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications, and ensure coordinated care with the healthcare team.

Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to legal and ethical standards, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications include: a master’s or higher nursing degree, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of experience, preferably in gastroenterology or internal medicine.

Schedule: 2 days/week, 8 hours/day, with potential for additional shifts.

Physical requirements: standing, walking, lifting, and working in a clinical environment.

Note: Relocation to Snyder, TX, required prior to start.
