Interventional Spine Radiology Technologists work with imaging to provide high-quality diagnostic images for injury and disease treatment, primarily during spine procedures. They follow industry standards, maintain sterile fields, and coordinate care with physicians and staff. Responsibilities include equipment setup, image management, patient transport, and room maintenance.


Required qualifications:

  • Completion of Radiologic Technology Program
  • Registered with AART
  • State Certification in Radiologic Technology
  • Basic Life Support Certification

  • Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with C-arm operation
  • Knowledge of vital signs
  • Advanced certifications like ACLS
  • Cardiac monitoring and invasive procedural experience

  • Physical demands include lifting over 50 pounds, prolonged standing, and exposure to radiation hazards. Candidates must maintain professionalism, safety, and courtesy while managing challenging situations, especially with acutely ill or potentially hostile patients. Continuous education and adherence to organizational values are essential.
