Job Description

The Podiatrist will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care, including diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and patient education, within a community-focused healthcare setting.

  • Perform clinical assessments, diagnose conditions, and prescribe treatments or surgeries as appropriate.
  • Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team and refer patients to specialists when needed.
  • Educate patients on foot health, proper footwear, and injury prevention, especially for high-risk groups like diabetics.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, meetings, and community outreach activities.
  • Qualifications include a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree, valid California license, CPR/First Aid certification, and experience in outpatient care.
  • Must demonstrate strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and ability to work independently.
  • Position requires physical mobility, ability to lift supplies, and exposure to clinical hazards.
