Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

We are a growing provider of psychiatric and psycho-social services supporting 600+ long-term care facilities across multiple states, with expanding operations. We have immediate openings for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing or interested in geriatric psychiatry at our Bloomington, IL location.

This is a Part-Time or Full-Time position with daytime hours, no weekends or on-call, offering flexible schedules, autonomy, and a dedicated practice manager. Benefits include full benefits for full-time roles, and some for part-time, with a pay rate from $55/hour.

Qualifications:

• NP or PA degree from an accredited university
• Valid, full license and DEA# in the state
• Strong communication skills and mental health care knowledge

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat mostly geriatric patients in various long-term care settings
• Prescribe or adjust psychotropic medications (no therapy involved)
• See 12-15 patients daily and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure documentation complies with Medicare standards

Preferred experience includes 1+ years in geriatric mental health and familiarity with Medicare standards. We are an equal opportunity employer.
