RN Supervisor

Job Description

This nursing supervisor role oversees and coordinates comprehensive resident care in compliance with regulations, ensuring residents’ medical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs are met effectively.

Essential functions include planning, organizing, and supervising nursing services, administering treatments, performing assessments, and ensuring infection control.

Administrative duties involve supervising staff, participating in hiring, training, and quality improvement initiatives, and maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications include a valid nursing license, at least one year of long-term care experience, CPR certification, and strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to operate medical equipment, maintain confidentiality, and work effectively with residents, families, and staff. The role reports to the Director of Nursing Services and requires a professional, team-oriented approach.
