We are seeking a Board-Certified Nephrologist to provide on-site care at a VA Medical Center, including weekly outpatient clinics and on-call coverage.

  • Deliver comprehensive nephrology care in inpatient and outpatient settings, managing conditions such as AKI, CKD, ESKD, electrolyte disorders, hypertension, nephrolithiasis, and kidney transplant patients.
  • Evaluate extracorporeal treatments for poisonings and oversee kidney replacement therapies like dialysis.
  • Provide bedside consults for non-ambulatory patients and document all care per VA policies.
  • Participate in quality and safety processes within the facility.
  • On-call duties require availability by phone within 15 minutes and onsite within 60 minutes, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    • Qualifications include MD/DO with accredited training, Board Certification or Eligibility in Nephrology, full unrestricted medical license, BLS/ACLS, and VA credentialing eligibility.
