SPEECH PATHOLOGIST – Knoxville Clinic

Job Description

This position primarily involves outpatient pediatrics, with some adult patients, located in Knoxville.

Job Summary:
Responsible for administering and applying Speech/Language Pathology treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Evaluates, plans, and treats patients to restore function, prevent disability, and assist in achieving maximum societal performance.
Participates in quality improvement activities, ensures personal competency, and supports departmental budget needs.
Assists in scheduling speech therapy evaluations and treatments.

Minimum Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology, current Iowa license, and ASHA certification.
Experience serving diverse age groups, including pediatric and adult populations.
Knowledge of speech pathology principles, infection control, and diagnostic equipment.
Requires BLS certification, effective communication skills, and basic computer knowledge.
Ability to maintain composure during crises and respond appropriately.
