Job Description

*Overview*
This position is part of a Family-Based Mental Health Service Treatment Team at Shamrock Solutions, Inc. This position provides in-home structural family therapy for the families the team is assigned to. This position, along with the Bachelor’s Level Therapist, function as a therapeutic team, providing individual, subset and family therapy to client families, performing instructional and case management activities as determined by the treatment plan and the therapy team. Work is performed on a flexible schedule to accommodate the family’s needs. This position is supervised by the Program Supervisor and President of Shamrock Solutions, Inc.

Hourly Rate is $25.00/hr.

Productivity incentive of $2.00 more/hr. can easily be earned when meeting the required productivity goals.

An additional $25.00/day is earned for being on-call.

Job Function:

· Assist in the assessment process for each family referred to the agency.

· Serve as a member of the treatment planning team.

· Provide instruction and modeling regarding parenting, co-parenting and child care, and helps parent(s) understand the child’s developmental needs.

· At the direction of the therapeutic team, assist and support family members in setting goals and identifying resources to meet those goals.

· Write case notes and other reports on a timely basis.

· Serve as lead clinicians to other agencies involved with the family.

· Staff multi-disciplinary team meetings at the direction of the therapeutic team.

· Facilitate communication between the therapeutic team and other community-based organizations involved with their caseload.

· Takes part in Western Psychiatric Program training, to include lectures (for any staff which has not graduated from the program) and clinical supervisions. Will provide cases to clinical supervision when assigned.

Job requirements:

* a Master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Rehab Science, or other Human Services field
* reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
* availability to work flexible / evening hours required
* rotations in the on-call schedule for crisis support
* One year experience working with Children and/or Adolescents
* Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check
* Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
* FBI Criminal Background Check
* Ability to give and receive feedback related to job performance and working within a team dynamic
* Positive attitude regarding learning and supervision; openness to incorporating new ideas and intervention into therapeutic work’
