Job Description
Assumes primary responsibility for nursing practice and operations in assigned areas, ensuring effective implementation and 24/7 accountability.
Facilitates communication, promotes patient-centered care, and manages resources to deliver safe, cost-effective, high-quality care.
Participates in goal setting, monitors unit performance, and takes corrective actions.
Acts as patient advocate, ensures regulatory compliance, and develops policies to improve nursing practices.
Collaborates with staff, physicians, and leadership to resolve issues, recruit qualified personnel, and support professional development.
Oversees staffing, evaluates staff performance, and facilitates ongoing education.
Manages budgets, reviews financial reports, and ensures efficient resource utilization.
Maintains quality controls, fosters a positive work environment, and ensures adherence to hospital standards and mission.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, RN license, and BLS certification.
