*Job Summary*
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and a *passion for supporting families in navigating complex mental illness, emotional and behavioral challenges*. This role involves working closely with individuals and families, particularly those affected by developmental disabilities and autism, to provide therapeutic support and guidance.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct assessments to understand the needs of families and individuals.
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical research and best practices.
* Provide behavioral therapy and mental health counseling to clients, focusing on enhancing family dynamics.
* Collect and analyze data to track progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
* Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
* Manage cases effectively, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
* Facilitate workshops or support groups for families dealing with autism or developmental disabilities.
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
*Qualifications*
* Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
* Valid state licensure as a therapist or counselor.
* Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred.
* Strong skills in data collection, coding, and clinical research methodologies.
* Proficient in case management practices.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development in behavioral therapy and mental health counseling.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $89,863.00 – $95,683.00 per year
