Locum Family Practice Mid-level Provider

Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and skilled Family Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for part-time coverage during November and December, with potential for ongoing roles to support provider leave and vacations. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care within a private family practice using a direct primary care model, serving diverse patient populations in South Tulsa.

• Conduct physical exams and assessments across all ages
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
• Perform procedures like suturing, IV insertion, and injections
• Manage acute and chronic conditions, including pain and behavioral health
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and prevention
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care
• Maintain accurate medical records using EMR (Elation)
• Participate in clinical research if needed

Requirements include valid PA or NP licenses, experience in various healthcare settings, proficiency with procedures and telehealth, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The position offers $80/hour, flexible hours (25-35/week), with benefits like employee discounts and flexible scheduling. Candidates should be able to commute or relocate to Tulsa, OK. The work involves in-person duties with a day shift preference.
