Locum Family Practice Mid-level Provider

Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and skilled Family Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a part-time role during November and December, with potential for ongoing coverage to support vacation and leave needs. This private family practice operates on a direct primary care model in South Tulsa, serving both insured and uninsured patients. The ideal candidate has a strong primary care background, experience across pediatrics, geriatrics, and acute care, and excellent clinical judgment with effective communication skills.

Responsibilities include conducting physical exams across all ages, developing treatment plans, performing procedures like suturing and injections, managing acute and chronic conditions, providing patient education, collaborating with teams, maintaining accurate records, and utilizing EMR systems. Experience with telehealth and familiarity with medical coding, critical care, and diverse patient populations are preferred.

Requirements:

• Valid PA or NP license with relevant certifications
• Experience in urgent care, emergency, hospital, or outpatient settings
• Proficiency in procedures, diagnostic evaluations, and telehealth
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical coding
• Excellent interpersonal skills for diverse populations
