Job Description
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, this role assists with routine patient care activities in a nursing unit, including admission, transfer, discharge, and basic patient support tasks.
Performs clerical, organizational, and patient-focused duties to support nursing staff.
Prepares patient rooms, ensures patient belongings are with them, and transports stable patients safely.
Maintains confidentiality, manages supplies, and responds to emergencies and patient needs effectively.
Identifies changes in patient condition and reports promptly.
Communicates effectively with team members and adapts care to meet patients’ individual needs.
Requires a CNA license, BLS certification, high school diploma (preferred), and some patient care experience; work hours are 7 AM to 7 PM, full-time.
