Mental Health Therapist

Job Description

Seeking a compassionate Mental Health Therapist for outpatient services, providing ethical, client-centered therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. This is a new service line expected to start in February 2026.

Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Current Iowa license (LMHC, LISW, or LMFT)
• Valid driver’s license
• BLS certification within six months of hire
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Preferred: Experience with Epic electronic health record system.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality outpatient therapy, including individual, couples, family, and group sessions
• Build trusting rapport with patients
• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with other departments and support crisis care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Perform additional duties as needed
