Clinical Supervisor (RN) Operating Room /Full-Time

Job Description

The Clinical Supervisor collaborates with Nursing Leadership to oversee shift operations and ensure nursing care safety and quality.

They guide staff using sound human resource and budget principles, support patient and family services through interdisciplinary teamwork, and supervise nursing associates.

The role involves coaching staff, providing direct patient care when needed, and exemplifying professionalism and clinical excellence.

Requirements include a graduate of an accredited Nursing program (BSN preferred), current RN license in New Mexico, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS/NRP, and TNCC or CPI within specified timeframes.

Preferred experience is 3 years; skills must match patient age-specific care. The position involves irregular hours, exposure to infectious diseases, and physical demands such as prolonged standing and patient handling.

Physical and environmental considerations include emergency response, good body mechanics, and exposure to unpredictable situations.
