Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for leading daily operations and ensuring nursing care safety and quality within a clinical department, working under the Nursing Department Director/Manager.
They guide staff using sound HR and budget principles, support patient and family services through interdisciplinary collaboration, and supervise nursing associates while providing patient care when needed.The role emphasizes professionalism and clinical excellence as a role model.
Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited Nursing program (BSN preferred), active RN license in New Mexico, and current certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS/NRP, with additional certifications as applicable.
Preferred experience is 3 years; skills include delivering age-appropriate care and managing emergency situations.The position involves irregular hours, exposure to infectious diseases and unpredictable situations, and requires physical ability to handle emergencies and assist with patient transfers.
