Locum Physician (MD/DO) – Family Practice in Detroit Region, MI

Job Description

Seeking a Family Practice MD or Internist with Pain Management experience for a locum position in the Detroit region, MI.

Start ASAP with a minimum 6-month commitment.
Shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Practice in a Pain Management Clinic, managing medications for pain-related conditions, including cancer pain and injuries from accidents.
See 17–25 patients daily, mostly aged 35+.
Credentialing takes approx. 2 weeks; MI license, DEA, and controlled substance license required.
Support staff includes receptionists and medical assistants.
Electronic charting and e-prescribing used.
