Job Description

The Division is seeking an experienced Outpatient Psychiatrist to provide at least 16 hours per week of psychiatric services to individuals with severe mental health challenges.

  • The ideal candidate will be compassionate, collaborative, and have at least three years of outpatient psychiatric experience.
  • Responsibilities include conducting medical assessments and supervising therapeutic medication use within individualized treatment plans.
  • The psychiatrist will join a supportive interdisciplinary team focused on person-centered, high-quality care.
  • Comprehensive administrative support is provided, including nursing, dictation, and clinical consultation.
  • This is an independent contractor role, paid hourly, requiring active Oregon licensure, DEA, DMAP, and professional liability insurance.
  • Fringe benefits are not included. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Salem, OR prior to starting.
