Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to manage an average of 40 long-term inpatient psychiatric patients in a secure facility. The role involves comprehensive evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings. The psychiatrist will conduct assessments, develop diagnoses, provide therapy referrals, and serve as Psychiatric Officer of the Day 2–4 times weekly, with optional on-call for additional pay. The patient population includes adults with severe mental illnesses, including NGRI, SVP, and complex diagnoses like schizophrenia and mood disorders, with stays lasting several months. Key responsibilities also include supervision, court testimony, and other credentialed duties. The position offers a schedule of 40 hours/week, no weekends or holidays, and pay between $140-$160/hour. In-person work only.
