Key duties involve interpreting referrals, conducting evaluations, developing treatment and discharge plans, delegating tasks, educating patients and staff, and maintaining documentation. They also ensure equipment safety and follow service standards focused on safety, courtesy, effectiveness, and stewardship.
Physical demands may include lifting over 200 pounds, repetitive motions, and prolonged standing or walking. The work environment may involve exposure to humid conditions, moving machinery, noise, and airborne particles. Sensory requirements include hearing alarms, patient communication, and visual acuity for near and distant objects.
