Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team.
Provide psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for diverse patients, including children and geriatrics. Manage medication regimens, prescribe psychotropic medications, and monitor efficacy and side effects. Utilize EHR systems like Medent for documentation and offer telehealth services ensuring HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with healthcare providers, participate in clinical research, and educate patients and families about mental health. Engage in quality improvement, maintain billing proficiency, and support procedures like TMS. Follow infection control protocols and sterile techniques during clinical interventions. Requirements include a Master’s in Nursing, certification as a PMHNP, valid licensure with prescriptive authority, and experience with diverse populations. Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, assessment, and communication skills are essential. The role is part-time with a salary range of $70,800 to $85,265 per year, including paid time off, and involves in-person work.
