Job Description
The Family Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive care across all age groups, emphasizing wellness, prevention, and management of minor and stable chronic illnesses.
Deliver clinical care in ambulatory settings, including health exams, prenatal care, and acute/stable chronic illness management.
Provide patient education tailored to age and condition, and participate in community outreach at off-site locations.
Contribute to performance improvement projects, epidemiological efforts, and healthcare planning.
Maintain accurate documentation, participate in on-call duties, and serve as a preceptor for NP students.
Meet licensing, certification, and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications include an accredited master’s degree in nursing, current Minnesota RN license, board certification, and a community health focus.
