Job Description

The Family Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive care across all age groups, emphasizing wellness, prevention, and management of minor and stable chronic illnesses.

  • Deliver clinical care in ambulatory settings, including health exams, prenatal care, and acute/stable chronic illness management.
  • Provide patient education tailored to age and condition, and participate in community outreach at off-site locations.
  • Contribute to performance improvement projects, epidemiological efforts, and healthcare planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, participate in on-call duties, and serve as a preceptor for NP students.
  • Meet licensing, certification, and continuing education requirements.

    • Qualifications include an accredited master’s degree in nursing, current Minnesota RN license, board certification, and a community health focus.
