About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Alumni Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified General Surgery MD in Quincy, Illinois, 62301!
- Requirements: Board Certified, Active Illinois License.
- Schedule: Call only coverage 1-2 weekends per month. Possible additional coverage in future. Fri 10 am – Mon 5 am
- Providers take call and any emergent cases that present, round on any patients we have, all call, no clinic, cover emergent cases only.
- Avg 3 calls per weekend unless change in condition of a pt. CVU tries to get all questions asked when rounding to avoid phone calls.
- Daily avg census: 7
- Referrals from Cardiology
- Primarily managing CABG cases and/or performing CABG if needed
- AM rounding and as needed for post-surgical patients if changes in condition
- Weekly Direct Deposits
- Travel and Lodging Provided if Needed
- A+ Rated Malpractice Coverage
- 24/7 Availability of your Recruiting Consultant & Credentialing Staff
