Job Description

This PRN position involves providing primary and emergency care to patients of all ages in the emergency room setting.

  • Responsibilities include ordering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescribing medications and treatments, and utilizing non-pharmacological therapies.
  • Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing school and Masters Nursing Program (post-1993), Missouri RN and APRN licenses, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS or TNCC. Additional certifications like NRP, STABLE, ENPC, CATN, and GENE are recommended.
  • Emergency room or ICU nursing experience is required; ER or Urgent Care experience is preferred.
  • Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner is necessary.
  • Position is part-time, requiring in-person work in Fairfax, MO, with a preference for relocation before start.
