Nurse Practitioner (ER) – PRN

Job Description

This *PRN* position involves providing primary and emergency care to patients of all ages in the emergency room at Community Hospital – Fairfax.

Services include ordering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications and treatments, and implementing non-pharmacological therapies.

Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited nursing school and a master’s nursing program (post-1993 graduates), with active Missouri RN and APRN licenses. Required certifications are BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS or TNCC. Preferred certifications include NRP, STABLE, ENPC, CATN, and GENE.

Emergency room or ICU nursing experience is necessary; ER or Urgent Care experience is preferred. Candidates must be certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, e.g., Family N.P.

Work is in person at Fairfax, MO 64446, with a preference for candidates willing to relocate before starting.
