Nurse Practitioner (ER) – PRN

Job Description

This is a *PRN* position providing primary and emergency care to all ages of patients presented to the emergency room at Community Hospital – Fairfax. Services include but are not limited to ordering, conducting, and interpreting appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescription of pharmacological agents and treatments and non-pharmacological therapies and other duties.

*Qualifications Include: *Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and an accredited Masters Nursing Program (for graduates after 1993). You must have a Missouri RN and APRN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS and ATLS or TNCC. Additional suggested certifications include NRP, STABLE, ENPC, CATN, GENE. Emergency room or Intensive Care nursing experience required; ER or Urgent Care Preferred. Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a designated Nurse Practitioner, i.e. Family N.P.
