Nurse Practitioner (ER) – PRN

Job Description

This PRN position provides primary and emergency care to patients of all ages at the hospital’s emergency room.

Services include ordering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications and treatments, and implementing non-pharmacological therapies.

Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited nursing school and master’s program (post-1993), with active Missouri RN and APRN licenses. Required certifications are BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS or TNCC; additional certifications like NRP, STABLE, ENPC, CATN, and GENE are recommended. ER or ICU nursing experience is required, with ER or Urgent Care preferred. Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner is necessary.

Work is part-time, in person, located in Fairfax, MO, with a preference for relocation before starting.
