Nurse Practitioner (ER) – PRN

Job Description

This *PRN* position involves providing primary and emergency care to patients of all ages at the Fairfax emergency room.

Services include ordering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications and treatments, and utilizing non-pharmacological therapies.

Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited nursing school and Masters Nursing Program (post-1993), with active Missouri RN and APRN licenses. Required certifications are BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS or TNCC, with additional certifications like NRP, STABLE, ENPC, CATN, GENE preferred. ER or ICU nursing experience is required; ER or Urgent Care background is preferred.

Must be certified as a Nurse Practitioner (Family N.P.) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Work is in person at Fairfax, MO, with a preference for candidates willing to relocate before starting.
