Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides comprehensive medical or surgical care, including diagnosis, treatment, prescribing medications, and patient education.
Practices within legal and professional guidelines, collaborating with healthcare teams and utilizing protocols for authority.
Assesses, manages, and evaluates patient health conditions across various settings, focusing on disease prevention and health promotion.
Performs physical exams, interprets lab/radiology findings, and conducts advanced procedures per credentialing.
Develops and implements care plans, educates patients/families, and maintains accurate, confidential records.
Engages in ongoing professional development, research, and teaching to enhance practice quality.
Requirements include 2-3 years of experience, current Texas APN or PA license, a master’s degree, and BLS certification. The role is full-time, working five days a week, eight hours daily.
