Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides comprehensive medical or surgical patient care, including diagnostics, procedures, prescriptions, and health education. They operate independently or collaboratively within legal and clinical guidelines, managing acute and chronic conditions, performing advanced procedures, and interpreting diagnostic results. Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, health promotion, and education, while maintaining accurate, confidential records. They collaborate with healthcare teams, stay current through ongoing education, and may participate in research and teaching. Requirements include 2-3 years of experience, a valid Texas license, advanced degree, and CPR certification. The role is full-time, 5 days a week, 8 hours daily.
