Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises Nurses & Medical Assistants.
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, managing complex wounds and developing individualized care plans.
Conducts assessments, performs treatments, and educates patients and caregivers to promote healing.
Collaborates with healthcare team members and documents all patient interactions.
Requires a Master’s/Doctoral degree in Nursing, active licensing, wound care certification within 6 months, and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Must work independently in a field-based setting, travel within the region, and adhere to safety protocols.
Physical and mental stamina are essential, including lifting, mobility, and stress management.
