Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises Nurses & Medical Assistants.
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, managing chronic wounds, pressure injuries, and surgical wounds. Conducts assessments, develops care plans, educates patients/caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams to promote healing. Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, MD/DO licensure, wound care certification within 6 months, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Position involves physical effort, field-based work, and travel within the region, with safety and infection control protocols mandatory. Responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and coordination of care. Offers full-time employment with benefits, a salary starting at $200,000, and flexible schedules.
