Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.
Job Summary:
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living settings, performing assessments, developing care plans, educating patients/caregivers, and collaborating with healthcare teams to promote healing.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, licensed MD/DO, wound care certification within 6 months, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
Requires physical effort, mobility, and adaptability to field conditions; must work independently, handle stress, and communicate effectively.
Work Conditions:
Field-based role involving travel; exposure to biohazards; must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Essential Functions:
Reassesses wounds, provides treatments, supervises staff, documents care, coordinates with providers, and adheres to safety, privacy, and infection control policies.
Compensation & Benefits: Full-time, up to $200,000/year, with benefits including 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, and flexible schedule.
