Job Description
This role involves providing mental health support to pediatric patients and their families within a primary care setting.
Offer emotional support and counseling to children and families facing health and social challenges.
Assess social, environmental, and psychosocial needs, including home environments and support systems.
Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team addressing emotional, social, and developmental needs.
Conduct individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based techniques.
Educate families on coping strategies, disease management, and community resources.
Maintain accurate documentation and stay current on best practices and policies.
Requires a Master’s degree, licensure (e.g., LMHC, LICSW), pediatric experience preferred, and strong communication skills.
