Evaluate and treat patients with communication, swallowing, and cognitive impairments. Develop personalized treatment plans based on physician orders. Administer and interpret specialized speech and hearing tests. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and progress. Collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff for holistic care. Maintain accurate documentation while adhering to HIPAA standards. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology. Current state licensure in Speech Language Therapy. Valid CPR certification. Preferred six months of experience in a long-term care setting. Skills & Attributes: Knowledge of effective speech therapy techniques. Understanding of geriatric clinical needs. Strong clinical skills, professionalism, and confidentiality.
