Music Therapist – Board Certified

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Music Therapist to join our healthcare team, using evidence-based techniques to enhance emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being across diverse populations.

Develop and implement personalized music therapy treatment plans for patients with conditions like autism, dementia, mental health issues, and recovery from addiction.

Conduct individual and group sessions utilizing behavioral, art, dance, and recreational therapies to promote emotional expression and social skills.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care and document activities in compliance with HIPAA and billing standards.

Educate families and caregivers to reinforce therapeutic progress outside sessions.

Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Requirements: Certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC), experience with diverse populations, knowledge of behavioral therapy, medical documentation, and HIPAA compliance. Experience in behavioral health or rehabilitative services is preferred.

This contractual 1099 role offers a flexible schedule and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through creative interventions in home and community settings. Must pass background and drug screening.
