About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Austin Major Group to find a qualified Neurosurgery PA in Illinois!

Position Details:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our inpatient neurology team in Illinois. This locum tenens role will primarily focus on inpatient neurosurgery coverage with some outpatient (clinic) responsibilities.

Overview:

• Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• No call required
• Estimated 15 shifts per month
• Round on neurosurgery inpatients
• Perform patient assessments and documentation
• Assist with care coordination and discharge planning
• Work collaboratively with neuro-interventional doctors
• No solo shifts or on-call responsibilities
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:

• Licensure: Must have an active Illinois state license and CSR license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and DEA certification required.
• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in neurology
