Counselor-Substance Use Treatment/ LADC or CADC

Job Description

We are offering a full-time position (40 hrs/week) for a licensed Substance Use Disorder Counselor (LADC or CADC) at an opioid treatment program in Westbrook, Maine.

Our clinic emphasizes in-person, on-site contact to foster therapeutic relationships, with clinical hours scheduled on weekday mornings and some Saturdays, maintaining manageable caseloads that meet state requirements.

The counselor will conduct screenings, intakes, assessments, and develop treatment plans with patients.

Provide individual and group counseling, referrals, case management, and crisis intervention.

Maintain thorough documentation of all services.

Requirements include active Maine CADC or LADC license, strong communication skills, flexibility, and a commitment to compassionate care.
