Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner – Wound Care to provide in-home patient care in a multi-specialty practice.
Responsibilities include:
Performing in-person evaluations and management of acute and chronic wounds in patients’ homes, assisted living, or skilled nursing facilities.
Conducting medically necessary debridement and procedures within CMS guidelines to promote healing.
Following infection prevention protocols and handling contaminated equipment properly.
Documenting services in EMR for appropriate billing.
Using critical thinking to assess, diagnose, and prescribe treatments and medications.
Requirements:
Master’s Degree and Montana RN licensure with Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
WOCN or CWCN wound care certification (or within 90 days).
At least 3 years of wound care experience and 1 year as a Nurse Practitioner in a wound-related role.
Valid driver’s license and transportation.
