Job Description

Seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine MD for a 3-week locum position in Anchorage, AK, starting ASAP. The role involves hospital medicine at Alaska Regional Hospital with 18-22 patient encounters daily, no procedures required, and a closed ICU with intensivist coverage. Shifts are 12 hours, rotating days and nights, including weekends, with no call responsibilities. Flexibility for 7 consecutive shifts and potential scheduling options like 7 on/7 off are preferred. EMR is EPIC. The position offers competitive weekly pay, travel and lodging if needed, malpractice coverage, and dedicated support. Ongoing coverage is expected into 2026.
