Speech Language Pathologist SLP Part Time

Job Description

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) role involves evaluating and treating residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, primarily in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.

Must be a graduate of an accredited master’s program, have taken or be eligible to take the Praxis, and hold or qualify for a state license.

Key duties include conducting assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, collaborating with healthcare team members, documenting progress, and educating residents and families.

Additional responsibilities include supporting palliative care needs related to communication and swallowing.

Qualifications include a CCC, strong clinical experience in adult and geriatric care, and excellent communication skills.

This part-time position offers $45-$55/hour, with 10-25 hours weekly, in person.
