Job Description

*Job Summary*
The Psychiatry Physician role is full time employment or an independent contractor position with a negotiable schedule. This position provides care for Geriatric and Adult/Dual patients within our inpatient program.

*Position Qualifications*

* MD/DO degree from an accredited program
* Board-certified
* Licensed to practice in Ohio
* Meets all privileging and credentialing criteria

*Responsibilities*

* Conducting admission evaluations
* Managing daily inpatient care
* Leading treatment teams

*Working Conditions*

Work occurs in a fast-paced psychiatric inpatient setting with patients who may display unpredictable or aggressive behaviors and must use de-escalation skills and follow safety protocols. The role requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, occasional lifting or assisting patients and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies while performing clinical tasks.
