Job Description

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing speech therapy services to ensure high-quality resident care in compliance with applicable regulations.

  • Conduct evaluations and provide treatment for residents with speech, language, cognitive, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
  • Perform resident screenings within specified timeframes and participate in facility meetings, care planning, and staff education.
  • Develop programs tailored to resident needs, assist in meeting certification standards, and adhere to infection control and resident rights guidelines.
  • Manage caseload scheduling, monitor productivity, and communicate staffing needs.
  • Present professionally, maintain effective communication, and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, state licensure, ASHA certification, and relevant SNF experience preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills are essential.

    Offers $35-$45/hour, flexible hours (1-16 per week), with benefits such as an employee assistance program, flexible schedule, and retirement plan. Work is in-person.
