Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing speech therapy services to ensure high-quality resident care in compliance with applicable regulations.
Conduct evaluations and provide treatment for residents with speech, language, cognitive, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
Perform resident screenings within specified timeframes and participate in facility meetings, care planning, and staff education.
Develop programs tailored to resident needs, assist in meeting certification standards, and adhere to infection control and resident rights guidelines.
Manage caseload scheduling, monitor productivity, and communicate staffing needs.
Present professionally, maintain effective communication, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, state licensure, ASHA certification, and relevant SNF experience preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills are essential.
Offers $35-$45/hour, flexible hours (1-16 per week), with benefits such as an employee assistance program, flexible schedule, and retirement plan. Work is in-person.
