Job Description

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering speech therapy services to residents, ensuring high-quality care in compliance with regulations.

  • Conducts evaluations and treatments for speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders based on physician orders.
  • Performs resident screenings within specified timeframes and participates in facility meetings, care planning, and staff education.
  • Develops programs tailored to residents’ needs, aids in maintaining certification standards, and adheres to infection control and residents’ rights policies.
  • Manages caseload scheduling and collaborates with staff, providing in-service education as needed.
  • Maintains professional conduct and communication at all times.

    Qualifications include a Master’s degree, state licensure, Asha certification, and preferably SNF experience. The role offers flexible hours (1-16 per week) at $35-$45/hour, with benefits such as an employee assistance program, retirement plan, and a flexible schedule. The position is in-person.
