Job Description

This locum tenens Nurse Practitioner role in Greenville, NC offers a 2-week assignment with competitive weekly pay, starting ASAP.

It involves working in a high-acuity, academic CVICU in a 16-bed cardiovascular center from January to July 2026.

The schedule includes 12-hour day and night shifts, rotating every two weeks, totaling 84 hours biweekly.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, developing treatment plans, interpreting diagnostics, prescribing within scope, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Procedural duties require proficiency in arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, thoracentesis, intra-aortic balloon pump removal, transvenous pacing, bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placement.

Candidates must hold active NC licensure, be certified as PA-C or ACNP, have at least 2 years ICU and CVICU experience, and possess BLS/ACLS certifications. DEA license is also required.
