Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a traveling provider, covering Uvalde, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, Kingsville, and Corpus Christi.

  • Provides comprehensive assessments and develops individualized wound care plans.
  • Performs procedures such as debridement, dressing changes, and skin grafts.
  • Monitors vital signs and manages potential complications.
  • Educates patients and families on wound care and prevention.
  • Accurately documents all interactions using ICD-10 coding.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
  • Stays current on wound care best practices and participates in professional development.
  • Requires travel, with mileage and overnight expenses reimbursed.
  • Ideal candidates have wound care experience, proficiency in assessment, and familiarity with coding practices.
  • Background in adult practice, Home Health, LTC, and working with dementia patients is a plus.
  • Full-time role offers a salary starting at $175,000 annually.
