Job Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking *Board Certified / Board Eligible Pulmonary Critical Care Physicians* to provide inpatient and outpatient pulmonary and critical care services at the Columbia VA Health Care System.

Responsibilities include performing procedures such as bronchoscopy, ventilator management, and pulmonary function tests; delivering outpatient and inpatient consultations; supervising residents and fellows; participating in safety and quality initiatives; providing on-call coverage; and documenting patient care in electronic health records.

Qualifications require an MD or DO, an active medical license, board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Disease, BLS and ACLS certifications, U.S. citizenship, and VA credentialing. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with on-call duties evenings, weekends, and holidays.
