Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Weekend Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner for a part-time, PRN role.

  • Provide gastroenterology consultations and manage hospitalized patients on weekends and weekdays as needed.
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Cover shifts during staff absences and educate patients and families.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.


    • Qualifications include a Master’s in Nursing, current Texas licensure, certification, and at least 1 year of experience. Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.

    Work hours are Fridays after 12 p.m., weekends, and additional weekday shifts as needed. The position requires in-person work in Lubbock, TX, with relocation if necessary.
